The Enchanted Grove
Within Lemuria seeds are sown and ideas flourish, as accomplished and struggling writer's alike congregate. From the golden seed of the silver birch came the elegant birch that so gracefully filters the morning sun as it streams in the windows of Carnforth, the home of the Soul Food Cafe. Similarly writing germinates from seeds sown in writing workshops, from writing within the forums and on team bloggers here at Soul Food.

Beautiful, Monika, beautiful indeed.
I love the silverly bark so evident in picture number one, and the ivy, at least I believe it's ivy, clinging to the base of the trunk. The colors are jubilant and trigger the urge to break into a heppy song.

They are indeed beautiful. Word from the ones in the know say, Lois, that the ivy is a benevolent friend, content to adorn that silver trunk. We love Birch Trees!
My silver birches are most prized here at Carnforth Monika. What lovely photographs.
Sorry you all, I have the most amazing Birch tree in my front yard. Travel the world over and you will not find one like it anywhere.
It leans over to one side and it looks like it glows in the dark because of the white bark.
And no matter how hard the wind blows its branches hardly move at all....the softer the breeze the more it moves.
NO KIDDING.
ps, I planted forget-me-nots around it's base. . .

I might just demand photographic evidence Anita Marie. The two in my back yard are magnificent, despite having their roots savaged when Darryl redid the brick paving a couple of years ago. They shelter ferns, cyclamans, azaelas, orchids and other delicate things. So there!
The battle of the birches! Maybe we need a blog of birches? No, I didn't say that, not at all, hmmm...
MONIKA YES! A Birch Blog...oh and did I mention I've written about a Funeral Home called...drum rool...
Leaning Birches.
Ha and hey my Birch tree RULZ, but okay, okay it's possible there are some interesting Birch trees out there.
Maybe.

Do you mean a blog made out of wood? A very interesting concept indeed! How would we LOG IN? (Sorry about that, it's hot over here:-})
*groan*
Even my doggie won't bark at that one.
